Jobtailor is seeking a recruitment and admissions lead to oversee counselor and faculty-in-training hires, camper admissions, and onboarding across the summer program. You will own the staff recruitment life cycle from advertising through onboarding and build the returning-staff pipeline.

You will refine job descriptions, interview structures, scoring rubrics, and workflows, while coordinating cross-functional teams.

• Manage hiring for counselor and faculty-in-training roles and camper admissions
• Own the staff recruitment process from advertising through onboarding
• Manage camper application and decision-making processes
• Build the returning-staff pipeline and engagement programming
• Hire and train first-round interview teams
• Refine job descriptions, recruitment strategies, interview structures, application processes, materials, and workflows
• Coordinate performance reviews and rehire or promotion decisions
• Build relationships with recruiting networks and organizations
• Manage applicant tracking and application platforms
• Support camp leadership hiring
• Develop application problem sets and scoring rubrics with academic leadership
• Recruit and train application review teams
• Run hiring for counselor and faculty-in-training positions
• Conduct interviews, reference calls, candidate communications, offers, and pipeline monitoring
• Conduct outreach to math communities and alumni networks
• Onboard faculty and staff, including background checks, I-9 verifications, HRIS setup, documents, photos, bios, and trainings
• Help faculty and staff arrange travel and prepare for camp
• Track applications, coordinate reviews and scoring, and support final admissions decisions
• Build and maintain admissions dashboards
• Support the customer service team with admissions questions
• Serve in an on-site camp role or support HQ through remote on-call shifts and camp visits during summer

Requirements

• Strong math background at the bachelor's or master's level
• Familiarity with the math enrichment ecosystem
• Some teaching experience in a math enrichment setting
• Experience as a student or staff member at a math summer program strongly preferred
• Experience with administrative, customer service, or project and people management work
• Prior full-time work experience is not required
• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
• Quick to learn new technology and identify workflow improvements
• Comfortable with complex spreadsheets and data analysis
• Comfortable in a small, growing organization
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Availability across a range of times for interviews and reference calls in multiple time zones
• Willingness to travel occasionally during the academic year and significantly during summer
