Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking A400M MRO Engineers to join our on-site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus. Locations include Manching. We offer a permanent German contract with relocation assistance, accommodation support and German language training.

The company covers your German tax return for the first year. As part of the role, you will develop and approve maintenance procedures and technical documentation, troubleshoot complex aircraft systems,

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in MRO, airworthiness, or design support roles within the aerospace industry.
• C1 English level – mandatory.
• A2/B1 German level – will be a plus.
• Citizenship of a European country required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve maintenance procedures and technical documentation for A400M MRO engineering.
• Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems and structural issues.
• Perform root cause analysis, defect assessment, and corrective action planning.
• Ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements, modifications and directives.
• Support major checks, overhauls, and maintenance execution.
• Enhance MRO processes and provide technical guidance to personnel.

What you will do

• A400M MRO Engineering: Develop and approve maintenance procedures and technical documentation.

• Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems and structural issues.

• Analysis & Investigations: Perform root cause analysis, defect assessment, and corrective action planning.

• Compliance & Airworthiness: Ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements, modifications, and directives.

• Maintenance Planning: Support major checks, overhauls, and maintenance execution.

• Continuous Improvement & Training: Enhance MRO processes and provide technical guidance to personnel.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or related field

• Relevant hands‑on experience in MRO, airworthiness, or design support roles within the aerospace industry
