Job summary

Tintschl Technik GmbH, a long-standing partner of AIRBUS, seeks an A400M MRO Engineer with a strong background in MRO and airworthiness to join an international team in Germany. The role focuses on developing procedures, supporting troubleshooting, and implementing ADs and Service Bulletins.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in aerospace or mechanical engineering and have 3+ years in aerospace MRO, with fluency in English and good German skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in MRO, airworthiness or design support in aerospace

Responsibilities

• Developing, reviewing and approving maintenance procedures, work instructions and technical documentation
• Providing technical support for troubleshooting complex aircraft system malfunctions and structural issues
• Analysing defect reports, maintenance data and operational feedback to identify trends and corrective actions
• Supporting technical investigations and root cause analyses
• Coordinating with design authorities, suppliers and regulatory bodies on airworthiness and technical requirements
• Evaluating and implementing modifications, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives
• Supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, including major checks and overhauls
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of MRO processes, tools and best practices
• Providing technical guidance and training to MRO personnel

Candidates must be eligible to work on military or NATO projects with the necessary security clearances.

The main tasks and responsibilities:

• Developing, reviewing and approving maintenance procedures, work instructions and technical documentation
• Providing technical support for troubleshooting complex aircraft system malfunctions and structural issues
• Analysing defect reports, maintenance data and operational feedback to identify trends and corrective actions
• Supporting technical investigations and root cause analyses

Your profile

Master’s degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field

3+ years of professional experience in MRO, airworthiness or design support within the aerospace industry – ideally involving military transport aircraft

Strong understanding of EASA/LBA or equivalent military airworthiness regulations and maintenance philosophy, including DEMAR 145

Confidence in interpreting technical drawings, aircraft manuals and repair instructions

In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures and propulsion; A400M experience is a strong advantage

Fluent English is required; good German skills are an advantage

You bring strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, a customer-oriented mindset and enjoy working reliably within an international team.
