Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) seeks A400M MRO Engineers to join on-site teams in Germany, supporting strategic Airbus projects. You will develop maintenance procedures, troubleshoot systems, and ensure airworthiness compliance.

Relocation and German language support are offered; permanent German contract with competitive salary (€57k–€65k) and integration assistance, including accommodation and tax return coverage for the first year. English required, German a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on experience in MRO, airworthiness, or design support.
• C1 English required; German A2/B1 is a plus; European citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• A400M MRO Engineering: develop and approve maintenance procedures and documentation.
• Technical support: troubleshoot complex aircraft systems and structures.
• Analysis and investigations: root cause and corrective action planning.
• Compliance and airworthiness: ensure modifications and directives compliance.
• Maintenance planning: support checks, overhauls, and execution.
• Continuous improvement and training: enhance MRO processes and mentor staff.

What You Will Do

• A400M MRO Engineering: Develop and approve maintenance procedures and technical documentation.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems and structural issues.
• Analysis & Investigations: Perform root cause analysis, defect assessment, and corrective action planning.
• Compliance & Airworthiness: Ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements, modifications, and directives.
• Maintenance Planning: Support major checks, overhauls, and maintenance execution.
• Continuous Improvement & Training: Enhance MRO processes and provide technical guidance to personnel.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or related field
• Relevant hands‑on experience in MRO, airworthiness, or design support roles within the aerospace industry
• C1 English Level – mandatory.
• A2/B1 German Level – will be a plus.
• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
