Charger Logistics Inc. in Bogotá seeks a Weekend Dispatcher to monitor shipments during weekend hours, communicate with customers and drivers, and coordinate pickup/delivery while resolving exceptions to ensure smooth transportation operations.

The role emphasizes proactive problem resolution, real-time visibility, and detailed reporting to support daytime operations and customer service excellence.

Formación

• 2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferred
• Recent college or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field is required
• Previous experience in an analyst role and or in pricing function is an asset
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability
• Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and track active shipments throughout weekend hours, maintaining real-time visibility and service performance.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and operational issues.
• Update customer portals, systems, and shipment records with accurate and timely information.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Identify, escal, and resolve service disruptions, delays, load recoveries, and other operational exceptions.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely solutions and follow-up.
• Prepare and distribute overnight reports, ensuring all critical updates and exceptions are communicated to the daytime operations team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
