Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a Weekend Dispatcher to monitor weekend shipments, communicate with customers and drivers, and coordinate appointments to ensure efficient transportation operations and superior service.

The role requires 2+ years in sales/account management in logistics, a degree in Marketing or Business, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Formación

• 2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics is preferred.
• Recent college or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field is required.
• Previous experience in an analyst role or in pricing function is an asset.

Work Schedule: Friday to Monday 2:00PM CST - 12:00AM CST

Work Schedule: Friday to Monday 6:00AM CST - 5:00PM CST

We´re looking for a Weekend Dispatcher who is responsible for weekend shipment monitoring, customer communication, track and trace activities, exception management, appointment coordination, operational reporting, and proactive problem resolution to ensure efficient transportation operations and exceptional customer service.

Responsabilities:

• Monitor and track active shipments throughout weekend hours, maintaining real-time visibility and service performance.
• Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and operational issues.
• Update customer portals, systems, and shipment records with accurate and timely information.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Identify, elevate, and resolve service disruptions, delays, load recoveries, and other operational exceptions.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely solutions and follow-up.
• Prepare and distribute overnight reports, ensuring all critical updates and exceptions are communicated to the daytime operations team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

• 2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferred
• Recent college or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field is required
• Previous experience in an analyst role and or in pricing function is an asset
• Ability to understand the business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions to implement them
• Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability
• Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment
