Lean Solutions Group in Medellín, Colombia is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher to coordinate and monitor active shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate tracking. You will work with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain shipment visibility.

Responsibilities include real-time tracking, load planning, data entry in PCS TMS and Excel, and documenting transportation paperwork. The role demands 2+ years in logistics and strong communication skills.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Dispatch, Freight Brokerage, or related field.
• Knowledge of transportation operations, shipment tracking, and carrier coordination.
• Experience with Track & Trace and transportation documentation.
• Ability to work with multiple systems and software platforms simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating through phone, email, chat, and other platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Experience with a TMS is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• English level: B2–C1.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor shipments in progress and obtain real-time location updates through Track & Trace.
• Confirm driver availability and ensure on-time arrival for pickups and deliveries.
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, questions, and updates.
• Price and quote ad hoc shipments as needed.
• Source and secure carrier capacity for ad hoc shipments.
• Send, collect, and verify transportation documents, including BOLs, PODs, and other required documentation.
• Maintain accurate shipment information and perform data entry in PCS TMS and Microsoft Excel.
• Follow up on delays, missing information, or changes affecting shipments.
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Manage multiple shipments and priorities while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
