Sutherland is seeking an Associate HR Manager to shape workplace culture, interpret HR policies for employees, and strengthen relationships by coaching and counseling. You will help maintain alignment with company policies and drive the HR function forward.

You will support employee orientations, document personnel actions, assist payroll, and identify efficiency improvements while participating in HR process optimization projects.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in HR functional areas, including HR Business Partnering, Recruitment, HR Shared Services, Labor Compliance, Labor Relations, Occupational Health and Safety, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Development, or Payroll.
• Advanced English proficiency
• Proven ability to provide HR consulting and effectively partner with operational and senior stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-management, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to confidently guide and influence operational leaders when required.
• High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder styles in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Shape workplace culture: Present and model HR philosophy and policies
• Be the expert: Provide policy interpretation guidance to employees
• Strengthen relationships: Resolve employee relations issues timely through appropriate coaching and counseling
• Keep Sutherland aligned: Resolve issues with employees in regards to adherence with company policies and procedures
• Set the path to success: Assist with the planning, preparation, hosting and administration of regularly scheduled required Employee Orientations
• Support the team: Assist in documenting personnel actions and provide information to payroll
• Improve workplace efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
• Support the evolution of the HR practice: Lead and/or participate in process optimization projects.
