Job summary

Sutherland in Bogotá is seeking an Associate HR Manager to shape workplace culture, model HR philosophy, and provide policy interpretation. You will guide employee relations and coach leadership to resolve issues in a timely manner.

You will partner with senior stakeholders, support orientations, payroll data, and process improvements, while maintaining confidentiality and upholding EEO guidelines. Advanced English is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in HR functional areas including HR business partnering, recruitment, payroll or labor relations.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proven ability to provide HR consulting and effectively partner with operational and senior stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape workplace culture by presenting and modeling HR philosophy and policies.
• Be the expert by providing policy interpretation guidance to employees.
• Strengthen relationships by resolving employee relations issues through coaching and counseling.
• Keep Sutherland aligned by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Set the path to success by assisting with planning, hosting, and administering employee orientations.
• Support the team by documenting personnel actions and providing payroll information.
• Improve workplace efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Lead or participate in process optimization projects within the HR practice.
