AgileEngine, a leader in data-driven software, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to operate and improve a Snowflake-based data platform in regulated healthcare. Own data ingestion, warehouse tuning, and CI/CD with dbt and Python, while ensuring least-privilege access and audit readiness.

In this role you will mentor engineers, operate Argo Workflows on Kubernetes, and collaborate with Cloud/DevOps, Analytics, and Security teams to deliver reliable, scalable data services for global clients.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
• Strong Snowflake experience including design, performance, access patterns, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with dbt for transformations and testing.
• Experience with Fivetran or HVR and building data ingestion pipelines.
• Hands-on AWS data services experience, especially S3 and event/file ingestion patterns.
• Experience with Argo Workflows on Kubernetes or similar tooling.
• Proficiency in Python or another data-engineering language.
• Strong data modeling, lineage, validation, and production-quality data practices.
• Experience with observability, logging, alerting, and incident management.
• Ability to lead incident resolution, RCA, and preventive improvements.
• Excellent English communication skills; able to work with client stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Data Platform during LatAm coverage windows.
• Operate and improve Snowflake production and non-production environments and tuning.
• Administer data access with least-privilege and audit-ready controls.
• Manage data ingestion across Fivetran, HVR, and custom pipelines.
• Design and maintain pipelines and dbt models across RAW, CURATED, CONSUMPTION layers.
• Support AWS S3 data-lake operations and coordination with downstream workloads.
• Coordinate with Cloud/DevOps on Argo Workflows and Kubernetes workloads.
• Define data quality and observability standards and implement checks.
• Expand monitoring and lineage with tools like SYNQ, dbt, and Splunk.
• Lead major data incidents and perform root-cause analysis with preventive actions.
• Support Tableau Cloud operations for data connectivity and refreshes.
• Create runbooks, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
