AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and leverage AI-powered tools for test generation and coverage optimization.

You will partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to ensure quality from the start, build scalable automation frameworks, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback.

Formación

• 4+ years of quality engineering or software testing experience.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Hands-on mobile test automation (iOS and/or Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to define product quality across SDLC and ensure quality from design through release.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers, balancing test pyramid levels.
• Promote a right-sized test pyramid and optimize tooling to reduce reliance on UI automation.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve code coverage and identify where tests add the most value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that integrate into CI/CD for fast feedback.
• Advocate shift-left quality through backlog grooming, sprint planning, and code reviews.
