AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the SDLC. You will design and maintain automated tests for unit, API, integration, and UI layers, using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, while advocating a balanced test pyramid and AI-assisted testing practices.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to embed quality from the start, optimize automation, and contribute to a continuous delivery mindset in a fully remote environment.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation (iOS and/or Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to understand product functionality and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality is built into every stage of SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with priorities, engineering practices, and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers with risk-based testing.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid and optimize test mix beyond heavy UI automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand code changes, coverage, and architecture to maximize automation value.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks that integrate into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and fast feedback.
• Promote shift-left quality by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, automation development, defect analysis, risk identification, and coverage optimization, validating AI outputs for accuracy.
