AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle, partnering with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects. You will design and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and champion a balanced test pyramid while applying AI-powered testing tools.

• 4+ years of software testing, quality engineering, or automation experience.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, or Postman.
• Hands-on mobile test automation experience (iOS and/or Android).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to embed quality across the SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business goals.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Promote a right-sized test pyramid prioritizing unit, service, and integration tests.
• Collaborate with dev teams to assess code changes and coverage for testing value.
• Build scalable automation frameworks that fit CI/CD pipelines.
• Advocate shift-left quality in backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, analysis, and coverage optimization.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort via intelligent automation.
• Partner in defect investigation and root cause analysis for improvements.
