AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia. You will design agentic workflows using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI orchestration patterns to production systems for enterprise clients.

You will mentor engineers, improve engineering productivity, and ensure secure, observable, and reliable code. The role emphasizes practical, user-centric solutions with strong technical leadership.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years in software product development.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Hands-on in AI agents, tool-using LLM apps, or orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector search, agent evaluation, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Ability to guide, review, and secure agent-generated code.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Create reusable patterns for agent orchestration and context management.
• Use AI coding agents across planning, implementation, testing, and deployment lifecycles.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Establish standards for observability, security, and governance of agentic systems.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and scale successful experiments to production.
• Mentor engineers and shape an agentic-first technical strategy.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align agentic capabilities with outcomes.
