AgileEngine in Cartagena, Colombia seeks a Senior Software Engineer to shape an agentic-first approach to software development, designing agentic workflows with Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI orchestration patterns.

You will mentor engineers, define standards for security and reliability, and turn experiments into production systems while delivering complete products aligned with customer needs.

Formación

• 5+ years in a software product development environment.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong JavaScript and React skills.
• Experience with relational databases and AI agenting.
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent workflows and AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration and context management.
• Use agentic coding tools across planning, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Establish standards for observability, reliability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new capabilities and turn experiments into production systems.
• Mentor engineers and shape an agentic-first technical strategy.
• Collaborate with leaders to connect capabilities to outcomes.
• Design agentic applications around real user needs with robust UX, permissions, and error handling.
• Move solutions from prototype to production addressing performance, cost, and maintenance.
