AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Bogotá to define an agentic-first approach to software development. You will design agentic workflows using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AI orchestration patterns, turning experiments into production systems.

Formación

• 5+ years in a software product development environment.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React.
• Experience with Relational Databases.
• Hands-on with AI agents, tool-using LLMs, or orchestrated workflows.
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG, vector search, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into practical, reliable technical solutions.
• Product mindset with customer-focused delivery.
• Strong communication skills to influence engineering practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build agentic workflows that coordinate tools, services, data, and human approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration, tool use, context management, memory, and multi-agent collaboration.
• Use agentic coding tools across planning, implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, code review, and documentation.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, support, and operational workflows.
• Establish standards for agent evaluation, observability, reliability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and turn experiments into production systems.
• Build complete, usable products—not just demos or isolated model integrations.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity and product delivery through agentic development.
• Mentor engineers and shape an agentic-first technical strategy.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to connect capabilities to outcomes.
• Design agentic applications around real user needs with intuitive experiences, reliable workflows, permissions, and audit trails.
• Move agentic solutions from prototype to production with attention to performance, scalability, security, monitoring, cost, and maintenance.
