Job summary

SupportYourApp is seeking a T3 Support Engineer to troubleshoot backend, databases, and API issues across web admin consoles and mobile apps. You will analyze logs, run queries, and implement small fixes while collaborating with Engineering.

You will work in a multilingual, remote-friendly environment from the EU, with USD compensation. Strong SQL, PHP/JS, and cloud familiarity are essential, as is clear communication and customer-focused support.

Qualifications

Experience in Technical Support, SRE, or Engineering with strong troubleshooting.
Proven customer-facing experience in a technical support role.
Strong SQL skills and production-grade relational databases.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to customers.
Familiarity with PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript; AWS or cloud services.
Experience with Sentry or Grafana for error tracking/monitoring.
Excellent written communication and analytical thinking.
Proactive, positive attitude; able to escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

Investigate and troubleshoot escalated issues involving backend, databases, and integrations.
Reproduce bugs across web admin consoles, mobile apps, and APIs; analyze logs and metrics.
Query production databases to validate data-related issues and implement small fixes.
Escalate complex issues with clear documentation to Engineering.
Track incidents and outages, verify fixes, and expand runbooks and knowledge bases.
