Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage multi-entity financial recordkeeping across 16 clinic locations and related entities. The role emphasizes intercompany reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting with a US-aligned remote workflow.

The ideal candidate has strong GL experience, multi-entity healthcare exposure, and advanced Excel skills. Remote work with US Central Time overlap is required for this full-time position.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-location, or multi-subsidiary structures (healthcare/medical practice preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely with US Central Time overlap.

Responsabilidades

• Manage payroll & expense accounting including bi-weekly payroll runs and reconciliation to QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations with allocations.
• Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Support AP activity: coding, GL reconciliation, vendor data maintenance, and backup AP coverage.
• Reconcile cash, revenue, deposits, and billing records; investigate variances.
• Support AR accounting and escalate issues to Controller.
• Maintain month-end checklists and documentation; improve processes for scale.
