Formación

• Strong claims experience is highly preferred.
• Familiar with Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, and Tailored Health Organizations payers.
• Experience with Occupational, Speech, or Physical Therapy authorizations is a plus.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and general computer literacy.

Responsabilidades

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Submit initial and concurrent prior authorizations to Medicaid, MCOs, Tailored Health Plans, Tricare, and commercial payers.
• Monitor authorization timelines and follow up to prevent gaps in coverage.
• Maintain accurate authorization records and client information in the EHR and payer systems.
• Submit additional medical records as requested for claims, appeals, pre/post-payment reviews.
• Prepare and submit insurance claims within required timelines.
• Research denied or partial payments and assist with follow-up.
• Review payer correspondence and EOBs for accuracy and processing.
