Job Duck, LLC is hiring a Billing and Collection Specialist for a remote role serving US-based clients from Colombia. The role focuses on guiding clients through payment options, validating credits, and maintaining accurate billing records.

You will prepare weekly reports and ensure timely communication with attorneys. Requirements include 2 years in billing/collections, proficiency with Clio Manage and Google Workspace, and strong client-facing skills.

Competenze

• 2 years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable within a professional services environment.
• Law firm experience strongly preferred.
• Comfort with outbound phone calls and client-facing conversations.
• Proficiency with practice management software, preferably Clio Manage.
• Ability to read and interpret legal invoices, time entries, trust account statements, and engagement agreements.

Mansioni

• Guide clients through payment options and explain how fees connect to outcomes.
• Verify credits, write-offs, and billing holds in writing before finalizing bills.
• Call clients before replenishment requests and document communications.
• Monitor attorney calendars and issue additional retainer requests as needed.
• Deliver weekly reports detailing resolutions and outstanding responses.
• Provide specific dollar ranges for upcoming costs and keep trust accounts funded.
• Log billing complaints with timestamps and route to the attorney assigned.
