RemotePeople is a global technology company enabling borderless work by handling payroll, benefits, taxes and compliance. The Onboarding Specialist will guide clients and new employees through the onboarding journey worldwide, ensuring compliant, smooth starts from day one.

You will review documentation, coordinate contracts and country-specific requirements, and partner across Payroll, Legal, and Client Success to deliver a high-quality experience.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in employee onboarding, HR administration, global mobility, payroll operations, or a similar client-facing role.
• Experience supporting onboarding in multiple countries; experience in EOR, PEO, global employment, payroll, or HR tech is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of employment onboarding processes and country-specific requirements, including employee documentation, benefits enrolment, contracts, and compliance.
• Familiarity with employment contracts and contract amendments, including working from established templates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage several cases, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• A consultative and customer-focused approach, with confidence guiding clients through complex processes.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to identify and elevate risks early.
• Comfortable collaborating with Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Sales, and Client Success teams.
• Experience using HRIS, CRM, ticketing, and collaboration tools; HubSpot and Confluence experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote, global environment and handling confidential information with care.
• Based in Latin America.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end onboarding for employees across multiple countries, from case receipt to first day.
• Guide clients and employees through onboarding requirements, timelines, documents, and next steps.
• Review and verify employee information and documentation, ensuring records are accurate and compliant before start date.
• Prepare employment contracts using internal templates and coordinate reviews, signatures, and amendments.
• Coordinate country-specific onboarding requirements, including medical checks, visas, tax forms and other local needs.
• Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Legal, Finance, and Client Success to ensure payroll and benefits are activated on time.
• Manage multiple active cases, prioritising effectively while maintaining accuracy and service.
• Follow up on outstanding actions; flag blockers early, including unsigned contracts after 24 hours.
• Explain country-specific processes, set expectations, and propose practical solutions to clients.
• Support onboarding and manage contract amendments throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Keep client and employee data up to date across internal platforms and CRM systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and the overall onboarding experience.
