Job summary

Whizz is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our remote team and support our growth. You will monitor overdue accounts, maintain records, and coordinate with departments to secure payments. This role requires 1+ year in collections, fluent English (C1) with Hindi/Punjabi as a bonus, and strong negotiation skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is essential. 40 hours weekly within EST hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Collections.
• Fluent in English (C1) and knowledge of Hindi/Punjabi is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor overdue accounts and secure timely payments.
• Keep accurate records of delinquent accounts, payment arrangements and invoices.
• Provide excellent customer service while managing collections.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and disputes.
• Prepare regular reports on debt collection activities and progress.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal collection laws.
