Whizz is hiring a Collections Specialist to manage overdue accounts for a global remote team. You will monitor delinquencies, negotiate payment plans, and maintain accurate records while delivering strong customer service. The role requires 1+ year in collections, fluent English (C1), and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

French/Arabic/Spanish language skills are a plus. You will work with other departments to resolve issues and ensure compliance with debt-collection laws.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Collections.
• Fluent in English (at least C1 level); knowledge of additional language (French/Arabic/Spanish) is a plus.

Position: Collections Agent

Location: Remote

As we continue to expand, we're seeking a Collections Specialist to join our remote team and support our growth.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track overdue accounts, using established protocols to secure timely payments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of delinquent accounts, incl. payment arrangements, communications and invoices
• Provide exceptional customer service to balance high customer satisfaction with effective collections efforts
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and disputes efficiently
• Prepare and provide regular reports on debt collection activities and progress
• Adhere to all state and federal collection laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all activities

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Collections
• Fluent in English (at least C1 level), knowledge of additional language French/Arabic/Spanish - advantage
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle challenging customers
• High-speed internet connection, personal computer, and headset
• Knowledge of state and federal collection laws (preferred)

Working Hours

• 40 hours a week with 8-9 hour shifts, scheduled within the 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST time frame
• Shift assignments may vary, with start times adjusted to ensure coverage throughout the operating hours
