Job summary

Opsarmy is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with hands-on experience in Bill.com, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and a background in CP G and e-commerce accounting to join our team remotely.

You will manage end-to-end AP processes for high volumes of invoices, coordinate payments, reconcile statements, and support month-end closing while maintaining accuracy and strict adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Hands-on experience using Bill.com for AP workflows.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or comparable software.
• Experience supporting US-based CPG or e-commerce businesses.
• Ability to work remotely with US business hours.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable operations including invoice processing, verification, coding, and approval tracking.
• Use Bill.com to manage AP workflows, process invoices, coordinate vendor payments, and monitor payments.
• Use QBO to record AP transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, coding, and proper approvals before processing.
• Process vendor payments and monitor deadlines for timely disbursements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP balances, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, POs, and vendor information.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoices and payment statuses.
• Support AP activities for US-based CPG/e-commerce businesses, including high volumes.
• Assist with month-end closing, AP reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and implement resolutions while ensuring compliance with policies.
