Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end month-end close for an assigned client portfolio, including AP, AR, payroll-related tasks, and other accounting activities.
• Take ownership of specific accounting tasks within the close cycle and ensure timely completion.
• Perform transactional accounting activities with proper classification and documentation.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting, ensuring accurate records and reporting.
• Apply e-commerce/CPG accounting methods, including inventory-related transactions.
• Prepare, review, and deliver client accounting reports and deliverables.
• Respond to client questions and follow up on outstanding items.
• Request and organize missing client documentation to support timely accounting.
• Maintain up-to-date financial records in QBO and Double.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to Controller as needed.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure deliverables are completed accurately.
• Support internal process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with Controllers and Staff Accountants to ensure high-quality reporting.
