Roofs in a Box is seeking a Remote Accounting Assistant to support the accounting operations for a U.S. roofing industry client. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple financial tasks independently, with strong English proficiency (B2+).

Formación

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or accounting support.
• English proficiency - B2 or higher (verbal and written).
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.).
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Update accounting databases and spreadsheets.
• Process invoices and payments; manage AP/AR.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closings.
• Assist with payroll data entry.
• Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve issues.
• Provide documentation and support for audits.
