Roofs in a Box is seeking a Remote Accounting Assistant to support the accounting operations for a U.S. roofing client. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple financial tasks independently.

Strong English proficiency (B2 or higher) is required, as daily communication will be with English-speaking clients and team members. This is a remote, independent contractor role based in Colombia.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or accounting support.
• English proficiency – B2 or higher (verbal and written).
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.).
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace skills.

Responsabilidades

• Financial Recordkeeping: maintain ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Invoice & Payment Processing: handle AP/AR, verify invoices and POs, liaise with vendors.
