Job summary

Cloud5 Accounting is a growing, cloud-based firm providing virtual bookkeeping and controller services to small businesses across the United States. We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our Accounting Operations team in a fully remote role from Colombia.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with the ability to handle AP/AR, data entry, and document organization using accounting software; advanced English is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance or actively pursuing
• Experience with AP/AR and bookkeeping preferred but not required
• Comfortable with accounting software and technology
• Excellent written and verbal English communication

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and maintain accurate records
• Assist with AP/AR transactions and reconciliations
• Organize client documents and accounting files
• Support with bookkeeping projects and process documentation
• Collaborate with the team to serve clients accurately and on time
• Participate in client calls and team meetings as needed
