Job summary

Howard is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 2–3 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a rock-solid accounting foundation, advanced QuickBooks skills, and exceptional English communication.

You will handle everyday accounting operations, assist with closings, and ensure compliance while collaborating with native English-speaking stakeholders across borders. This is a 100% remote role offering growth opportunities and USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in international, US-based, or remote settings.
• Solid accounting fundamentals and ability to communicate in formal business English.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations in QuickBooks.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings with accurate trial balances.
• Prepare timely financial statements and management reports.
• Identify process improvements and automate routine accounting workflows.
• Maintain internal controls and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Present financial figures clearly and collaborate with cross-border teams.
