Job summary

Gallagher in Bogotá, Colombia seeks aPlacement Support professional to ensure accurate, compliant administration of reinsurance placement activities and to maintain contract records. You will support premium billing processes and prepare key placement documentation across regions.

You will collaborate with Broking, Sales, Compliance, and servicing teams to facilitate seamless operations, while adhering to internal policies and GEM standards and delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field as listed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in insurance/reinsurance or broker support is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English in a professional environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support setup and renewal of contract records with data validation.
• Analyze client, reinsurer, and placement data for accuracy.
• Conduct due diligence for new clients and reinsurers with internal teams.
• Review market security info and ensure policy compliance.
• Complete sanctions checks and regulatory verifications with Compliance.
• Monitor approvals and documentation for placement processes.
• Produce reports and data to support reinsurance programs.
• Maintain electronic placement files following GEM standards.
• Review contracts to ensure accurate system entry and workflow.
• Create and maintain contract records in broking systems.
• Prepare and issue placement documentation and notices.
• Process premium billing entries per procedures and timelines.
