Sutherland in Bogotá is seeking a Lead Payroll to oversee complex payroll operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements for our local population.

The role requires hands-on management of end-to-end payroll cycles, audits, data integrity across HRIS and payroll systems, and leadership of L1/L2 analysts while partnering with Finance and HR teams.

Colombia-specific payroll knowledge and a strong focus on accuracy are essential to deliver reliable payroll services.

Formación

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in payroll administration, payroll shared services, or payroll operations.
• Strong expertise in payroll calculations, payroll reconciliation, payroll reporting, and payroll adjustments.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise payroll systems such as ADP, SAP Payroll, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance requirements, tax regulations, and payroll audit readiness.
• Experience managing payroll escalations, employee payroll disputes, and high-volume payroll support requests.
• Leadership exposure: guiding payroll analysts or supporting payroll team operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, Accounting, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-End Payroll Execution for assigned population.
• Review payroll outputs for 100% accuracy and manage off-cycle payrolls.
• Ensure Colombia payroll law compliance and statutory regulations.
• Prepare audit documentation and support audits.
• Monitor changes in payroll regulations and adapt processes.
• Handle complex payroll discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Validate system integrations and data flow; coordinate fixes.
• Drive standardization of payroll processes and train L1/L2 team members.
