AXA Partners seeks an Underwriting Manager LATAM to lead the regional underwriting team, drive profitable growth, and pioneer innovative protection and reinsurance solutions across LATAM markets.

You will collaborate with product, legal, compliance, risk, and sales to shape policies, negotiate strategic partnerships, and influence regional strategy. Fluent in English and Spanish, French is a plus. This is a role for a dynamic leader in a global insurer.

Qualifications

• Actuary or equivalent professional background.
• Experience in underwriting, pricing, or product design within insurance.
• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead LATAM underwriting team and align with global strategies.
• Define and evolve underwriting policies with product/legal/compliance.
• Grow portfolio through partnerships and defend existing business.
• Serve as technical contact for regulatory governance.
• Support deployment of transformation and innovative reinsurance schemes.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities.
• Represent the business in negotiations for GWP up to €5M Life and €2M GAP.
