Job summary

Numerator is seeking a Benefits Specialist to design, administer, and communicate employee benefits across LATAM from Colombia. This role partners with regional HR teams to ensure local compliance, market competitiveness, and tailored programs for a diverse workforce.

You will manage statutory benefits, pension plans, and vendor relations, while aligning with global HR strategy and ensuring accurate payroll integration across LATAM. Strong English and Spanish skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in benefits administration with a strong focus on LATAM markets preferred.
• Fluent English.
• Understanding of country-specific benefits, statutory programs, and regulatory landscapes across LATAM (e.g., Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru).
• Experience navigating multi-country benefits administration in a remote or distributed HR environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with LATAM payroll cycles and how benefits integrate with payroll processing across different countries preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish required; Portuguese proficiency strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for LATAM benefits programs, including healthcare, pension, life insurance, and wellness.
• Partner with regional HR teams to tailor benefits to local needs using LATAM market data.
• Manage country-specific statutory benefits and tax obligations across LATAM.
• Manage relationships with regional insurance brokers and wellness vendors; ensure SLA compliance.
• Negotiate plan designs and pricing with vendors, considering inflation and currency volatility.
• Stay current on regulatory changes across LATAM markets in partnership with brokers.
• Oversee pension systems across LATAM and advise on voluntary pension offerings.
• Build multilingual benefits communications for employees across LATAM.
