SCOR LATAM is seeking a Senior Underwriter to lead Casualty Facultative Reinsurance initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. You will develop client relationships, assess exposures, and negotiate optimal terms aligned with SCOR's strategic plan.

You will collaborate with underwriting, claims and pricing teams to grow market share, enhance profitability, and deliver technically sound solutions for Cedent Facultative business in the region.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years experience in Casualty (re)insurance underwriting, facultative focused.
• Strong technical expertise in insurance and reinsurance principles.
• Proven experience in business development, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Advanced analytical skills for risk assessment and profitability analysis.
• University degree and/or relevant professional qualifications
• Strong underwriting experience across the (re)insurance market
• High technical acumen of reinsurance and insurance Casualty wordings.
• Thorough understanding of pricing models (proportional, non-proportional)
• Ability to travel

Responsabilidades

• Produce and manage portfolios of accounts, building strong market relationships.
• Contribute to underwriting guidelines and portfolio growth initiatives.
• Support development of submission pipeline and proactive marketing.
• Collaborate with Claims, Pricing and other regions to ensure consistency.
• Engage clients and brokers to expand SCOR's Cedent Facultative offerings.
• Represent SCOR in market events and client meetings.
