Job summary

Pebl in Medellín, Colombia, seeks a Senior Specialist to own complex LATAM onboarding, offboarding, and HR operational work for enterprise clients. You’ll translate regulatory requirements into scalable processes, partnering across Payroll, Legal, Benefits, and Product to drive seamless experiences.

Strong HRIS fluency, data-driven decisions, and collaboration across cross-functional teams are essential. English is required; residing in Medellín and a hybrid work arrangement are needed.

Qualifications

• Strong technical or analytical degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, or related field.
• Proven experience defining requirements for HRIS workflows and integrations, including data mapping, UAT, migration controls, and post-launch stabilization.
• Advanced data fluency for KPIs, dashboards, and data quality to guide scalable decisions.
• At least six years of progressively responsible HR or HR Operations experience, with international exposure.
• Experience managing complex onboarding/offboarding across multiple client environments with accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of LATAM labor laws and HR regulations; Colombia knowledge valued.
• Proven ability to own complex or sensitive HR matters and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives from design to adoption.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer orientation.
• Professional proficiency in English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Residence in Medellín, Colombia, and availability for hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Independently own the most complex onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing HR operations for enterprise clients across LATAM.
• Anticipate customer and employee needs, follow-up questions, risks, and dependencies; translate complexity into guidance and timelines.
• Serve as regional SME on employment regulations, translating requirements into compliant processes.
• Partner with Payroll, Legal, Benefits, Immigration, Product, Support, and external providers; ensure timely cross-functional handoffs.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives, including launches and policy changes, from problem definition to adoption.
• Define KPIs and reporting logic; use data quality and dashboards to diagnose causes and measure cycle time, SLA attainment, and satisfaction.
• Build and maintain SOPs, controls, playbooks, knowledge resources, and training.
• Lead HRIS workflow improvements from requirements to post-launch stabilization and adoption.
• Act as senior escalation point for sensitive matters; present options, risks, and recommendations.
