Knowledge & experience:
Required:
- Proven experience in benefit strategy, design, and administration within a multinational environment.
- Strong analytical capability to interpret trends, utilization, and financial data.
- Demonstrated vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Deep understanding of regional benefit regulations and compliance.
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels and manage complex benefit issues.
Preferred:
- Experience with global retirement and benefit programs.
- Actuarial background or training.
Core responsibilities and tasks
- 1. Strategic Benefits Planning & Design
- Define and optimize regional benefit strategies aligned with global guidelines.
- Lead annual renewals for all insured benefits.
- Ensure competitiveness, compliance, and cost-effectiveness across 8 LATAM countries.
- Support global initiatives, well‑being programs, pension de‑risking, and M&A processes.
- 2. Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Project Leadership
- Act as the key benefits partner for HRBPs and business leaders.
- Partner with Compensation on non-core benefit programs.
- Manage brokers and benefit providers to ensure service quality and cost control.
- Lead contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
- 3. Employee Communication & Engagement
- Support development of clear, targeted benefit communications.
- 4. Data Analysis & Financial Oversight
- Track cost trends, utilization, and financial forecasts to identify optimization opportunities.
- Conduct benchmarking and support annual budgets with Finance.
- 5. Compliance, Governance & Issue Resolution
- Ensure benefit programs meet local regulations and global standards.
- Provide guidance on regulatory updates and administrative impacts.
