AgileEngine is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds. You will drive automation, tooling, incident management, and onboarding for new clients.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes operations (4+ years), strong Linux skills, and experience with AWS or Azure. Familiarity with observability tools, CI/CD, and IaC is a plus; remote-friendly with flexible hours and competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes in production experience (4+ years).
• Strong Linux fundamentals and command-line skills.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (AWS or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private clouds.
• Use observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts with up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end including root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale with demand.
