Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments.

You will automate tooling, manage incidents, and onboard new clients while delivering scalable, reliable infrastructure. The role emphasizes hands-on Kubernetes, Linux, and cloud experience, with strong emphasis on incident response, runbooks, and observability.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes in production: 4+ years.
• Strong Linux and CLI fundamentals.
• Experience debugging complex systems end-to-end.
• Public cloud experience (Azure or AWS).
• Familiarity with observability tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across cloud environments.
• Leverage observability tooling to keep alerts actionable with up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage end-to-end incident response, root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard new clients to the platform and assist with adoption.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual work and improve performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components current.
• Capacity planning to scale the platform with demand.
