Job summary
AgileEngine is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer & SRE to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private cloud environments, including automation, tooling, and incident management.
The role requires hands-on Kubernetes production experience (4+ years), strong Linux fundamentals, debugging complex systems, and cloud provider work (Azure or AWS). Nice-to-haves include Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo, Python/Java scripting, and Helm/Terraform.
Qualifications
- Hands-on Kubernetes production experience (4+ years).
- Strong Linux fundamentals.
- Debugging and troubleshooting across app to infra layers.
- Public cloud experience, preferably Azure or AWS.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across cloud environments.
- Leverage observability tooling to keep alerts actionable with up-to-date runbooks.
- Manage end-to-end incidents including RCAs and post-incident reviews.
- Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
- Build automation and tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
- Identify and deliver process improvements.
