IE University’s Global Markets team in Bogotá seeks a Junior Manager, Master Programs, to accelerate growth for master programs across Colombia and neighboring regions. The role focuses on commercially minded, strategic, and innovative professionals who will drive recruitment and engagement.

The position is full-time in Bogotá, requiring English proficiency and willingness to travel. You will lead outreach, advising, events, and data-driven optimization across markets to deliver strong

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of professional experience.
• Experience in sales, marketing, communications, or business development, ideally within the education sector.
• Strong level of English proficiency is essential.
• Experience in an international environment is highly valued.
• Undergraduate degree required; masters degree is highly valued, IE University alumnus/alumna is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, commercial mindset, and results orientation.
• Analytical skills and comfort working with data and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Increase awareness and market presence of IE master programs across Colombia, Central America, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic.
• Manage the candidate pipeline from lead generation to enrollment, ensuring strong follow up and conversion.
• Support the candidate journey through personalized advising, face-to-face meetings, calls, events, and ongoing engagement.
• Design, manage, and implement business development and commercial strategies for the assigned markets and business unit.
• Execute recruitment and enrollment activities, including fairs, presentations, information sessions, school visits, and networking events.
• Analyze market performance, candidate behavior, and conversion metrics to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Propose and implement innovative initiatives that improve commercial effectiveness and strengthen candidate engagement.
• Leverage AI, CRM tools, automation, and digital solutions to improve reporting, pipeline management, candidate communications, and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve workflows, share market insights, and contribute to better results across the segment.
