Job summary

APM Terminals in Buenaventura, Colombia seeks an IT/OT Engineer to support and maintain the terminal's IT and OT infrastructure. You will help ensure secure, reliable technology operations with administration, troubleshooting, and expertise across both IT and OT environments.

You will collaborate with regional technology teams and global experts to implement upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts in a fast-paced terminal setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and OT environments.
• Knowledge of CCTV, OCR, biometric systems and industrial networks.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IT and OT infrastructure for terminal operations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and network tech.
• Support upgrades, lifecycle changes, and modernization initiatives.
• Maintain OT tech including CCTV, OCR, biometrics, and VMTs.
• Provide L2/L3 support and coordinate escalations as needed.
• Execute patch management, vulnerability remediation, DR activities, and monitoring.
• Maintain technical documentation, inventories, diagrams, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with tech standards, cybersecurity, and change governance.
