AgileEngine is seeking an IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineer in Barranquilla, Colombia, to design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, and storage across on-premise and cloud environments.

You will lead initiatives to implement secure, observable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure, liaising with global teams and vendors in a fast-growing company. This role requires deep expertise and strong communication across international operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on engineering experience with enterprise networks, servers and storage.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment.
• Experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches, and wireless infra.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Server OS and Active Directory.
• Strong cloud experience with AWS and Azure (cloud-first approach).
• SOX compliance experience is required.
• Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Experience with Office 365 suite.
• Patch deployment experience.
• Self-sufficient and able to work independently in a fast-growing company.
• Strong communication and vendor/MSP management skills.
• Willing to work after hours and adapt across US/EMEA time zones.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineer to design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, and storage across on-premise and cloud environments.

MUST HAVES

• 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems.
• Network Equipment Experience: hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment and software.
• Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure (Physical and Virtual).
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory.
• Strong experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure) with cloud first approach.
• Experience working in a SOX regulated company a must.
• Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with patch deployment required.
• Self-sufficient, self-managed, self-motivated, must be effective working independently.
• A service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating value for our internal customers and business partners.
