Job summary
APM Terminals is seeking an IT/OT Engineer to support and maintain the Buenaventura Terminal's IT and OT infrastructure. You will ensure secure, reliable technology operations, handling infrastructure administration, troubleshooting, and technical expertise across IT and OT environments.
You will collaborate with regional technology teams to support critical terminal operations, cybersecurity initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, servers, and virtualization.
- Familiarity with OT devices and security principles is desired.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with regional teams.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain IT and OT infrastructure for secure terminal operations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and networks.
- Support upgrades, lifecycle changes, and modernization initiatives.
- Maintain OT technologies including CCTV, OCR, biometric systems, and industrial networks.
- Provide L2/L3 support, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate escalations.
- Execute patch management, backup validation, and disaster recovery activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and asset inventories.
