Job summary

HoopStars, a Toronto-based youth basketball business, seeks a hands-on General Manager to own marketing, ecommerce and profitable growth for HoopStars and its parent company Community Sports Partners. Remote from LATAM with Toronto hours and potential relocation to the US or Canada by mutual agreement.

You will divide your time between running HoopStars and building the parent marketing team across brands, managing budgets, performance and the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on General Manager with marketing, ecommerce and growth focus.
• Experience in paid acquisition, optimization, and retention.
• Commercial responsibility beyond a marketing budget: pricing, margins, staffing, forecasts or profitability.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies or specialists.
• Strong English communication and effective remote leadership.

Responsibilities

• Run HoopStars: own business plan, budget, revenue, profitability and cash forecasts; lead sales and operations.
• Drive digital growth: improve paid search, social, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing and offers.
• Build the parent marketing team: define structure, recruit specialists, manage priorities across brands.
• Establish commercial discipline: connect campaign performance to paying customers and profitability.
• Stay close to execution: inspect accounts, diagnose funnel issues, and lead improvements.
