Job summary

HoopStars, a Toronto-based youth basketball business, seeks a hands-on General Manager to lead marketing, ecommerce and profitable growth. You will split time between running HoopStars and building the parent Community Sports Partners' marketing team across brands, with LATAM remote work and potential future relocation to US/Canada.

You will own budgets, performance and the customer experience, with a focus on paid acquisition, conversion and retention to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in paid acquisition and ROAS.
• Ability to optimize funnels, landing pages and enrollment flows.
• Proven track record in increasing retention and customer lifetime value.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts and performance reporting.
• Strong leadership of remote teams and contractors.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with cross‑border collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Run HoopStars: own the business plan, budget, revenue and profitability.
• Lead sales and operations, ensuring coaches, venues and services meet demand.
• Drive digital growth: optimize paid search, social, pricing, offers and referrals.
• Build and manage the parent marketing team across brands, including hiring and agency management.
• Establish commercial discipline by linking campaign performance to paying customers and profit.
