Job summary

Stolt Tank Containers is seeking an Operations Coordinator to plan and execute the logistics requirements for the export and import of customer orders, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality service within STC’s Quality Management System.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate bookings across channels, handle documentation and invoicing, support continuous improvement, and comply with safety regulations while connecting customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in operations/logistics; international exposure is a plus.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Spanish required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working in an international environment with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer bookings via Web, EDI, API and email, ensuring timely and accurate processing and KPI achievement.
• Handle export/import documentation and ensure accurate shipping instructions per procedures; distribute release instructions to carriers/terminals.
• Ensure systems are up-to-date with all shipment details and monitor end-to-end import processes.
• Execute billing procedures and issue invoices according to tariffs and customer requirements.
• Record events and non-conformities; participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
• Uphold safety regulations and compliance across operations.
