Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an Operations Manager to ensure the daily functioning of LCC operations, coordinating personnel, systems and processes across multiple clients.

You will supervise team leads, resolve transport and logistics issues, maintain metrics and records, and drive cost and process improvements using prescribed methods such as 4DX. Fluency in Spanish and English is required to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Business or related field.
• Desirable specialization in Supply Chain, Logistics or International Trade.
• 5–8+ years in logistics or supply chain.
• Knowledge of KN business units (Contract Logistics, Air, Sea, Road).
• Ability to engage in professional communication with clients and internal management resources.
• Experience in different client verticals.
• Spanish and English advanced to fluent.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the work of the logistics Team Leaders in a multi-client shared services environment.
• Resolve problems related to transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports and customer issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics operations with business systems or processes, such as purchasing, business management, finance, continuous improvement, etc.
• Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation and training records related to managed customers and direct employees.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, such as transportation and warehouse activities, process adherence, logistics performance and quality.
• Supervise staff to ensure compliance with optimal transportation modes, routes, equipment and frequencies
• Have knowledge of efficiency and productivity programs (such as 4DX) and be able to lead efforts in cost and process improvements using prescriptive methods.
