Job summary

Pebl is seeking an expense specialist contractor for the Global Expense team to manage high-volume auditing and data entry for a 6-month period. You will ensure policy compliance across Americas jurisdictions and work during Americas business hours.

The role requires 3+ years in global expense management, payroll, or accounting with proficiency in Expensify, NetSuite, and Excel. This is a fixed-term engagement with high availability and accurate processing expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in global expense management, payroll, or accounting.
• Proficient with Expensify, NetSuite, and Excel.
• Global knowledge of multi-currency and international expense nuances.
• Excellent written communication with policy clarity.
• Reliability in meeting deadlines during high-volume periods with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Global Audit & Compliance: Perform end-to-end audits of employee expense reports across 30+ countries, ensuring adherence to Pebl’s global policies and local tax requirements (VAT/GST).
• System Management: Accurately process, approve, or reject claims within Expensify, providing clear and professional guidance to employees when corrections are required.
• Data Integrity: Ensure all expenses are correctly coded to the General Ledger and posted accurately within NetSuite.
• Reporting & Controls: Maintain precise records of approvals and rejections to ensure audit readiness and operational visibility.
