Job summary

DealMaker, a fast-growing fintech, is hiring for an AP/AR role overseeing day-to-day payables and receivables across multiple entities. The contract-to-perm path begins immediately, with plans to build automated expense, collections, and cash application workflows, expanding to oversee systems and scale processes.

You will partner with billing/revenue, manage workflows, and drive system-driven improvements. You will join a small, high-performing Finance team and interact with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in AP, AR, collections, cash application or finance ops.
• Hands-on AP and AR process experience.
• Familiarity with Stripe for invoices and payments data flows.
• Comfort with cloud-based finance tools (Float, NetSuite, Stripe, Zip).
• HubSpot experience for recording activity and reports.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Detail-oriented with a systems-building mindset.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer Float for daily credit card coding and employee reimbursements.
• Manage wellness stipend reimbursement cycle.
• Support expense process controls and system integrity.
• Run collections on aged AR and negotiate payment plans.
• Maintain AR reminders and be the primary contact for payments.
• Support cash application and reconcile Stripe activity.
• Post bank journals and assist month-end reconciliations.
• Assist audit and tax data requests.
• Collaborate with billing/revenue to resolve invoice disputes.
• Monitor automated workflows and manage exception queues.
