The Nuclear Company, a fast-growing AI-driven startup in the energy sector, seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the billing and receivables function. This hybrid role based in downtown Columbia, SC focuses on contract-governed services, intercompany billings, and ASC 606 alignment.

You will drive invoicing accuracy, cash application, and AR reporting while partnering across Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and Sales to optimize cash flow and financial visibility.

Qualifikationen

• Proven understanding of GAAP and revenue concepts (ASC 606).
• Experience with contract-based invoicing (milestones, T&M, cost-reimbursable).
• Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience (NetSuite preferred).
• Ability to leverage AI/automation to streamline AR workflows.

Aufgaben

• Own customer invoicing end to end, ensuring accuracy and contract terms.
• Manage cash application, reconciliation, and resolution of billing discrepancies.
• Prepare intercompany billings and joint venture cost reimbursements.
• Track unbilled receivables and coordinate with Technical Accounting on revenue alignment.
• Monitor aging, resolve payment blockers, and escalate cash-flow risks.
• Maintain AR reporting and support month-end close and internal audits.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and project teams.
• Partner with Business Systems on data flows between NetSuite and NOS.
